RRFS POINTS CHALLENGE
The series will include both participation points and placing points. That means that a person need not be fast to qualify for year-end awards. Rather, they must be willing to train and participate in races throughout the season. But placing points are also encouraged for those trying to improve their times and age placement.
*All Results are based on your age at the end of the year before the event.
To earn participation points, an athlete must complete an event and earn a time. All forms of registration will be accepted and earn points.
5Ks and 5K Adventure Races: 5 points
10Ks: 7.5 points
Half-Marathon: 10 points
Individual Triathlon: 10 points
Relay Triathlon: 0 points

SERIES FINISHER CHALLENGE
To be considered a RRFS Finisher, you must complete 9 of the 11 events.
At the conclusion of the final event for the year, accumulated points will be tallied and the overall men’s and women’s point winner, as well as age group winners will be determined. The overall winners, the top 5 in each age group by gender and the Series Finishers will be invited to a special Awards Banquet to be recognized for their commitment to their health, to living an active life, and for their willingness to accept personal challenge. Awards will be given to the top five in each division by gender. The invitees are treated to a complimentary meal as well, and Series Finishers are presented certificates and a unique personalized award such as a jacket or shoes something along those lines.
